Barbara Derecktor Donahue - Bibah (beebah ) a life time dance artist, teacher, studio owner began painting full time 4 years ago in Ft Pierce , Florida. Her goat painting got into The Backus Museum show called "the best of the best " at the A. E Backus Museum which shocked her and gave her the confidence to keep painting . She began painting A to Z animals which became the first of several A to Z books. The first book of animals is painted on paper. The second two books were painted on fabric (felt & canvas) before becoming hard cover books.The a to z theme expanded to designs of wearable art & home decor. She has painted and drawn several more kids art books, the most recent are " draw in ",art books. Now she is painting portraits and astrology stories . Her evolving style is raw, colorful , experimental , whimsical ,sometimes tells stories and her portraits capture peoples spirits. Her art work and painting projects are a mix of pencil, pastel ,acrylic, oil, watercolor and markers .Her quote she lives by is " We never know what's next because anything is possible ".
